Who are we?

Trailblazers

Learning Community

About Us

Trailblazers is a two-day-a-week drop-off learning program for homeschoolers in Flagstaff, Arizona. We offer a secular, hands-on alternative to traditional education where kids feel safe to be themselves, dive into big ideas, and build real friendships along the way.

The Power of Project-Based Learning

Whether designing science experiments, performing original stories, or building creative projects, our students learn by doing. This hands-on approach encourages deep thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while making learning both meaningful and memorable.

Our Academic Approach

Students thrive when learning is meaningful, social, and hands-on. We explore science through STEM challenges rooted in real-world questions. Literature is studied through rich group discussion that builds empathy and critical thinking. Students also express themselves through creative writing and art, which foster imagination, voice, and personal growth. These experiences are strengthened in a community of peers where support and curiosity guide the learning journey.

A Community That Grows Together

Community is at the heart of Trailblazers. From collaborative projects to field trips and family events, we strive to create a welcoming environment where students and families build lasting friendships. Together, we nurture a love of learning and a sense of belonging.
