Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.

A Day in the Life of a Trailblazer

  • Scouts (1st-3rd grade)

Scouts start their day with open-ended exploration—building, observing, and asking big questions about the world around them. Whether they’re digging into a science experiment, acting out a story, or creating art with natural materials, learning is joyful, playful, and full of wonder. Guided by nurturing teachers, Scouts collaborate, share, and develop early academic and social-emotional skills through hands-on experiences.

  • Explorers (4th–6th grade)

Explorers dive into their day with curiosity and confidence. They collaborate in small groups to solve STEM challenges, participate in lively literature discussions, and express their ideas through writing, design, and performance. Their days balance structure and freedom—offering space to dig deeper, follow their interests, and build strong friendships while growing their independence and critical thinking.

  • Voyagers (7th–9th grade)

Voyagers jump into immersive, project-based learning that challenges their creativity and deepens their thinking. They collaborate on hands-on STEM investigations, craft and refine their writing, and contribute to a quarterly publication that showcases their voices. With opportunities to mentor younger peers and take initiative, Voyagers gain confidence, develop leadership, and explore complex ideas in a supportive, dynamic environment.
