A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TRAILBLAZER

Our days are designed with breathing room. The final hours of the day are spent in open-ended play and connection. These unstructured afternoons give kids the chance to run, create, and explore while building friendships across ages and soaking up fresh air in every season. Because learning thrives when joy and community come first!

    Scouts (6-8 years old)

Scouts start their day with open-ended exploration by building, observing, and asking big questions about the world around them. Whether they’re digging into a science experiment, acting out a story, or creating art with natural materials, learning is joyful, playful, and full of wonder. Guided by nurturing teachers, Scouts collaborate, share, and develop early academic and social-emotional skills through hands-on experiences.

    Explorers (9-11 years old)

Explorers dive into their day with curiosity and confidence. They collaborate in small groups to solve STEM challenges, participate in lively literature discussions, and express their ideas through writing, design, and performance. Their days balance structure and freedom, offering space to dig deeper, follow their interests, and build strong friendships while growing their independence and critical thinking.

    Voyagers (12-14 years old)

Voyagers jump into immersive, project-based learning that challenges their creativity and deepens their thinking. They collaborate on hands-on STEM investigations, craft and refine their writing, and contribute to a quarterly publication that showcases their voices. With opportunities to mentor younger peers and take initiative, Voyagers gain confidence, develop leadership, and explore complex ideas in a supportive, dynamic environment.
