  • Trailblazers provides hands-on science, storytelling, and creative exploration for homeschoolers in Northern Arizona.

    We’re committed to building a space where curiosity is honored, creativity is celebrated, and every student feels a strong sense of belonging. Through meaningful projects, community connection, and joyful learning, Trailblazers empowers students to grow with confidence and purpose.

  • Trailblazers meets in a dedicated classroom space in downtown Flagstaff at 121 E Birch Ave. The space is used exclusively by our program, providing a consistent, welcoming environment designed with our students in mind.

    In addition to indoor learning, we regularly venture out into nearby parks and the downtown area, giving students time outdoors and meaningful opportunities to connect with their local community.

  • Our classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-2pm. We host special events on Fridays which varies regarding time and place.

  • Trailblazers is open to homeschoolers ages 6 to 14. Our program is now divided into three multi-age groups:

    • 1st–3rd Grade

    • 4th–6th Grade

    • 7th–9th Grade

    Our new K-3 class offers a 1:8 teacher-to-student ratio to support younger learners with plenty of individual attention, play, and project-based learning.

  • Our program includes hands-on science, STEM exploration, storytelling, literature, and creative projects - all taught through active, engaging, project-based learning tailored to each age group.

  • Tuition is $1300/quarter (9 week session). There is also a one-time registration fee of $100.

  • Yes, we are an approved vendor and can be paid directly through ClassWallet. Invoices include an additional ESA processing fee.

  • Trailblazers is a secular learning community that celebrates inclusivity and respect for all families. While we don’t include religious content in our curriculum, we warmly welcome learners from all backgrounds and belief systems. Our goal is to create a space where every child feels safe, valued, and free to explore the world with curiosity and confidence.
